THE MEASURES WE TAKE FOR SAFETY
USFS Receives Texas Mutual 2023 Platinum Safety Partner Award for Employee Safety!
USFS had ZERO recordable Safety Incidents in 2023. USFS was 1 of 200 out of 76,000 policy holders to receive this award.
Eric Bourquin, VP Safety Services for Texas Mutual Insurance Company, said “We selected your company because you provide the resources necessary to protect your employees from workplace hazards, which is reflected by your outstanding safety record. It is clear that safety is a core value in your organization.”
USFS HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAM
USFS maintains a full-time Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to ensure that personnel and the services provided remain compliant with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Everyday all projects start with a “Job Risk Analysis” (JRA) that identifies task(s) associated hazards and the steps needed to mitigate those risks and provide for safe job performance. Anytime the job scope changes, and additional hazards are identified, the JRA will be revisited and edited as a group to account for hazard mitigation.
Owing to the varied nature of our business, we often say that no two jobs are alike. However, there is one thing that is the same every time and it’s our commitment to safety.
